Today’s agenda:Day 1

  • Grab the OPALCO Island Way Electric Vehicle  – 2020 Kia Niro
  • Hop on the ferry with the Switch It Up! Pup – Pepper
  • Head over to Snohomish PUD’s microgrid – check out the vehicle to grid chargers they have installed
  • Stop in Monroe, WA to tour a BPA transmission substation – see where the our power comes in from the east side of the state
  • Find a charger on Mercer Island and interview my brother who is the owner of a new Tesla
  • Sleep in Cle Elum (approx 209 miles)
