Get Ready to Jam at the Electric Vehicle (EV) Jamboree!

tesla

On August 5th @ 4:30 pm, OPALCO will be hosting an EV Jamboree at the OPALCO Eastsound Parking Lot. It’s a LIVE and in person Island Way workshop! This event will introduce members to a variety of EVs, give those who already have an EV a chance for some show and tell (bring your EV!) and answer all of your EV questions.

Members will have the opportunity to test drive an EV with Island eCars, compare EV models, get an EV Happy Deal (while supplies last) and chat with EV experts. Just for fun, there will be e-bikes from Wildlife Cycles to try out, free hot dogs, Island Way swag, and super fun activities for kids. Just show up!

Be sure to sign in to be entered in the Island Way raffle! OPALCO’s Island Way campaign is here to help co-op members prepare for the energy future that is coming FAST. Throughout this year, OPALCO has been hosting a series of (mostly virtual) workshops to give members the tools they’ll need to prepare their homes and businesses. OPALCO is raffling off some great prizes to members who participate in these Island Way workshops: a Greenworks electric lawnmower and ten shares of the 2021 Community Solar Project. OPALCO members will be entered to win with each session they attend, including the EV Jamboree. The two winning names will be drawn on October 1st.

If you have any questions, please email us at communications@opalco.com. OPALCO has a lot of great virtual tools and incentives for members interested in EVs: www.opalco.com/evs.
