OPALCO Eastsound Office Temporarily Relocating during Roof Renovation Project
The roof of OPALCO’s 1970s built Eastsound headquarters office has reached the end of its life. Increasing structural issues with the original roof pose some safety concerns, so it is time for a renovation. During this necessary maintenance period, the Eastsound OPALCO office building will be temporarily relocating to 208 Enchanted Forest Road (next to the Saw Shop – where Rock Island was located for several years) and will be open for business as usual beginning June 23.
The Mount Baker Road Office will be completely closed to the public to prepare for the move from June 19 through June 23, when the office will reopen at the temporary location. During that time, all member services will be available through our Friday Harbor office or over the phone. Call 360-376-3500 for help with billing, accounts, and any member questions.
The hope is that the team can move back into the Mount Baker office in the fall of 2025. At this time, there is no official date for when the original office location will re-open. As construction progresses, we will provide updates on the timeline. In the meantime, you can find the team at the temporary office location at 208 Enchanted Forest Road throughout the summer!
The OPALCO team thanks you for your patience and understanding during this construction project.
