Salmonberry Switches It Up!

Salmonberry school on Orcas Island benefitted from OPALCO programs to access energy efficiency upgrades. This will help them save money and is good for the environment. Salmonberry installed three high-efficiency ductless heat pumps in 2018. This year they will be looking at upgrading their insulation and windows – measures that OPALCO offers rebates for.

OPALCO is committed to energy efficiency and works with PNGC on their robust rebate programs. This year OPALCO will be able to offer on-bill financing for members interested in switching from fossil fuels to electricity.
