Vacuum Excavation along Olga Road in Moran State Park

The work isn’t all about digging and laying lines. Much of it is preparation, such as what they are doing in these photos. Here they are using vacuum excavation to determine the exact location of the existing raw water supply to the Olga water system that comes out of Cascade Creek. This is an old fragile water line that requires extreme due diligence to minimize the possibility of rupturing the line.

Work will resume on Monday, January 18, 2016 and continue through mid-February.
