COVID-19 Co-op Updates

OPALCO is open for business by phone and online. Staff members are working remotely and/or in social isolation in the offices to take your calls, help with bill paying, processing rebate applications and service orders. The only service unavailable during this time is in person customer care. The offices are closed. Members who have no other option than to pay their bills in cash must call first to make arrangements so staff can safely receive the payment and issue a receipt

OPALCO announced the first measures available on March 20, 2020.

  • No late fees
  • No disconnects
  • No reconnect fees
  • Additional funding for Energy Assist and Project PAL (ongoing programs)
  • Payment arrangements

An update is sent out every Wednesday in the form of an email newsletter and then posted on the website (www.opalco.com/news)If you’re not already receiving our newsletter, please sign up: www.opalco.com/newsroom/email-newsletter-sign-up/
