El viernes pasado, la subsidiaria de propiedad total de OPALCO, Rock Island Communications, envi\u00f3 un correo electr\u00f3nico a su lista de clientes haciendo referencia a una lista espec\u00edfica de candidatos para la pr\u00f3xima elecci\u00f3n de la junta directiva de OPALCO. Hoy, Gerry Lawlor, vicepresidente ejecutivo de Rock Island, emiti\u00f3 una retractaci\u00f3n de ese correo electr\u00f3nico afirmando: \u201cLas opiniones expresadas en ese correo electr\u00f3nico son m\u00edas y se formularon sin el conocimiento de la junta directiva de OPALCO, el equipo directivo o Glenna Hall. Comet\u00ed un error de juicio\u201d.<\/p>\n

Foster Hildreth, Gerente General de OPALCO y Rock Island, dijo: \u201cEl liderazgo de OPALCO adopta una posici\u00f3n neutral en la elecci\u00f3n de la Cooperativa.
