Lunch time for OPALCO's Beach-MasterAbove, Left & Bottom left: The beach crew lines up the cable on rollers. A signal is given and the OPALCO crew starts the puller 800 feet above at the Orcas Terminal site.
Below: The cable is lubricated to minimize stress during pulling. To the left of the crew are the iron cable protector for the new cable. To the right of the crew, in the white conduit is the cable that was cut and retrieved.
