Grand Finale


Although there is still a lot to do prior to energizing and lighting up the cables (See .“Web Story”), the departure of the Caldwell Marine International Barge on October 6th marked the ending of the OPALCO 2004 Submarine Cable Installation Project. After over two years of planning and implementation, it was a reflective and emotional time for many OPALCO staff members.
