It is going to seem different doing these OPALCOGRAMS with a different person. Occasionally I will write them out long hand or type them on a computer, but I dictate the vast majority of them to Carol, who takes them down in shorthand and makes them look like I know what I am talking about. A major part of the credit for all of these OPALCOGRAMS goes to Carol, who won't let a Friday go by without squeezing an OPALCOGRAM out of me to make the newspaper's deadline. I have always felt that change is good, but this is the kind of change that is going to take a lot of getting used to -- for Carol, who doesn't have to come to work anymore and for me, who will have to learn to do these OPALCOGRAMs without Carol's help. Good luck, Carol. We are all going to miss you. P.S. Stop by our office on Mt. Baker Road and have cake and coffee and say good-bye to Carol on January 5th from 1:30 to 4:30.
