Having your new heat pump installed to the industries best practices assures you that your system
will be operating at it’s optimal level and our rebates are for systems installed by Performance Tested Comfort Systems (PTCS) certified contractors only. See Why PTCS? Rebates range from $300 – $1,900 depending on equipment ratings and whether you have an existing system. Please see our PTCS Heat Pump Rebate Form for details on OPALCO rebate amounts and eligibility. Your PTCS contractor must fill out and submit a separate PTCS Commissioned Heat Pump Certificate to OPALCO. This can be confusing so please contact us with questions.
Ductless Heat Pumps
A Ductless Heat Pump is a highly efficient heating and cooling system that is easily installed as a new primary heat source for electrically heated homes. Ductless systems heat and cool homes at a fraction of the cost of baseboards and wall heaters and do a better job of distributing warm or cool air around a home, thus making your living areas more comfortable. OPALCO offers a rebate of $1,500 for existing site built homes that convert from zonal electric heat to a ductless heat pump. Manufactured homes do not currently qualify.
